I've grown weary of the way we celebrate Independence Day.
For my brothers and sisters in arms who suffer with PTSD, and my little dog, and many others, the next few days will be torturous.
At least for my pup, I will be with her, sitting on the floor, holding her against me for comfort.
I wish I could do the same for many I know who will be curled up somewhere, shaking, reliving real life nightmares.
