As “Mental Health Awareness Month,” comes to an end, we see this sad and pathetic situation. Shame on the powers that be who control the WTA, ATP and Grand Slam Tennis, for ignoring the mental health of one of their own.
Physical injuries we can see, mental and emotional injuries are often hidden; often until it is too late. Ms. Osaka, you are not a distraction – you are giving a much needed wake up call to all those who exert control over the livelihood of others.
