5.0 out of 5 stars A clever inversion of a well-known story

Kelly Dress' world is turned upside down in a hideously violent attack. She vows to take revenge, and what follows is an engrossing tale which is part feminist fairy-tale, part religious satire, part revenge fantasy. I was absolutely held by the story. The premise is very clever, very well constructed, and very entertaining.
A word of warning: this is definitely not suitable for under 18s, and it is important to mention that some of the violence is graphic and potentially upsetting, particularly early on, so please be aware of triggers. Similarly, if you are offended by the marriage of explicit sex with a tongue-in-cheek take on the New Testament, this isn't for you. But for everyone else, I highly recommend this. Really clever, and well written.
